You didn't choose this. It crept up.
It started with the newborn years, or the shift work, or one bad stretch that never really ended. Now you're in bed by ten and still staring at the ceiling at half eleven. Or you drop off fine and then you're wide awake at 3am doing the mental admin for the entire week.
Either way the alarm goes and you've got nothing in the tank.
And here's the part nobody says out loud. It isn't the tiredness that gets you. It's who you turn into when you're tired. The snapping. The short answers. The guilt about it afterwards.
You're not a bad parent. You're a knackered one. There is a difference, and it is fixable.
